Aarthi Narayanan work on the first major focus of my research is to understand host responses to infection by bunyaviruses such as Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV), alphaviruses such as Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis Virus (VEEV) and human retroviruses such as HIV.
