At the heart of ethical deliberations in biotechnology lie several fundamental principles. First and foremost is the principle of beneficence, which emphasizes the obligation to promote the well-being of individuals and society. However, realizing this potential necessitates a nuanced understanding of the ethical implications inherent in biotechnological advancements. Balancing progress with responsibility requires adherence to ethical principles such as beneficence, non-maleficence, justice, and autonomy, alongside robust regulatory oversight and public engagement.
