Assessing the impact of a clinical research program on patient outcomes and quality of care in a community pharmacy setting.
This study aims to evaluate the impact of a clinical research program on patient outcomes and quality of care in a community pharmacy setting. The research program involves the integration of clinical services, such as medication therapy management and health screenings, into the routine practice of community pharmacists. Patient outcomes and quality of care measures were assessed through a pre-post study design, comparing data before and after the implementation of the program. The results demonstrate significant improvements in patient outcomes and quality of care following the introduction of the clinical research program. These findings emphasize the potential of community pharmacies to play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care in healthcare systems.Author(s): Kelvin Hugh*
