Biography:

Ligia Paina is an Assistant Professor in the International Health’s Department Health System Program at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH). She is a health system researcher, with training in international studies and global public health systems, Dr. Paina’s research focuses on: implementation research and M&E of complex health system policies and interventions, (including social accountability), system adaptation, and understanding how to intervene in complex systems in order to ensure responsive particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations.
