Biography:

Marcelo Campos Appel-Da-Silva graduated from the Lutheran University of Brazil with a degree in medicine (2005). Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology postgraduate (Medical Residency) at Hospital Nossa Senhora da Conceiço. Hepatology Master's Degree from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA, 2016). In 2018, the Brazilian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SOBED) certified him as a specialist in digestive endoscopy. He is currently a physician at the Me de Deus Hospital in Porto Alegre, RS, where he works in the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Service as well as the Multiprofessional Nutritional Therapy Team (EMTN).
