Biography:

Dr. Solis-Herrera is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Diabetes Division at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA).She previously completed training in Internal Medicine and in Mexico, becoming board certified in both. Dr. Solis-Herrera accepted the offer for a postdoctoral research training fellowship in diabetes and metabolism at the UTHSCSA with Dr. Ralph A DeFronzo, Chief of the Diabetes Division at UTHSCSA, Deputy Director of the Texas Diabetes Institute and one of the world’s leading type 2 DM researchers
