The Allied Academies, Inc. is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of North Carolina. It is an association of scholars, whose purpose is to support and encourage research and the sharing and exchange of ideas, knowledge and insights throughout the world.

Why join the Allied Academies?

1. We are unique among academic organizations.
2. We are a non-profit corporation in our ninth year, sponsoring three conferences (fall, spring and summer) each year.
3. We publish 19 journals which cover every discipline in the college of business and we make them acccessible to the conference participants.
4. We recognize 25% of conference manuscripts by publishing them in one of our journals, all of which are double blind refereed, listed in Cabell's Directory, and published in hard copy as well as on the web.
5. Our conferences have deadlines 6 weeks in advance, rather than 6 months, and we offer an Internet Division which allows individuals to participate fully, including the opportunity for journal publication, without incurring travel expense.
6. Physical attendees actually choose the day and time of their presentations.
